Before the coffee gets cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi - Book Review

This is the fourth book I read during the lockdown period.

Before the coffee gets cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, is an amazing book that made me smile and made me cry too.
The book is set in a cafe where by sitting in a certain chair you can go back to the past, however there are certain rules: you cannot leave your seat and therefore cannot leave the cafe once in the past, you can only sit in a certain seat in the cafe, you can only visit someone who has visited the cafe before and you must finish your coffee before it gets cold.
The book follows the stories of 4 different people who decide to go to the past, each story is followed seamless into another by focusing on someone who was a side character in the chapter before their story which develops in the next chapter.

10/10- I really enjoyed reading this book and I was captivated from the start about this mysterious cafe. I enjoyed that as the book progress not only are the characters stories developed but so is the story of the cafe and what happens there. The stories make you empathise with the characters and understand their emotions and why they want to go to past.
