Birds of Prey - film review

This is the sixth film I watched during lockdown.

'Birds of Prey (and the fabulous emancipation of one Harley Quinn)' tells the story of the independence of Harley Quinn, from the DC comics, after her breakup with the Joker and the formation of the birds of prey.

This film does contain a lot of violence due to the protagonist, Harley Quinn, being a villain, however the cinematography and set design was incredible. The violence was made more PG by using glitter in certain scenes instead of blood, potentially depicting Harley's mental state. The sets were beautiful to watch, especially the scene set in the amusement park.
Additionally, the film was hilarious, with Harley regularly breaking the fourth wall to talk directly to the viewer explaining her plan.
10/10 - the plot flows smoothly and is easy to follow, you'll sit on your seat laughing for most of the film, and the development of the characters was incredible to watch. If you enjoy superhero movies you will love this film.
